
Virgin Atlantic & TCS sign 7-Year AI Deal to Boost Airline Tech

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from India and Virgin Atlantic have signed a seven-year agreement to use artificial intelligence to improve the airline’s main systems. The agreement keeps up two decades of work aimed at improving travel for passengers and crew with new, personal, connected and green solutions.
Under this renewed seven-year agreement, TCS will implement a cloud-first, AI-powered digital core to boost business agility, improve system resilience, and support higher operational scale. An important highlight is the built-in Technology Command Centre which will survey operations constantly, improve technology support and let all staff gets instant, relevant information. This project will bring Virgin Atlantic’s technology systems together, encouraging greater efficiency and more innovation.
